8mm camcorder show to DVD?

I usually plug my camcorder into the scart at the back of my video recorder + amass onto vhs video tape. I'm presently wanting to save to DVD instead.
Any push for on DVDr's. I will also need to cut the film. Is near software i could use on my pc? Without have to buy a DVD recorder?


Answers:    You will need a DVD-RW drive on your computer if you want to dictation onto DVD. Then you will need analogue to digital video converter software.
