Answers: You are lucky that this is one of a few DVD camcorders which hold USB port. most of the DVD camcorder doesn't have it.
Anyway, install the driver by running the compact disc which been supplied near camera or you can go to sony.co.uk and after type the model number for your camcorder, go to the support connection and you will find the driver for your USB read to be downloaded!. after this you may need to restart the PC, after connect the USB cable to both PC and camera, the camera should be detected by your PC as a (Sony Camcorder). and then 200% you can use it as a illustrious quality webcam!
P.S. depend on the camera model, if the PC didn't detect the camera, you may requirement to activate the USB stream port from the camera setting menu, check surrounded by the supplied Manuel
