How do I obtain video onto a computer next to a camcorder that have no USB?????????
Answers: If this is a digital camcorder (mini-DV or Digital8), it probably has a Firewire port... Sony would give the name it an i.Link port. You didn't specify the model, so it's impossible to tell for secure. USB is not used for video from tape-based camcorders anyway, they adjectives use Firewire. If your PC doesn't have a Firewire port, you can incorporate one on a PCI card (or PC-Card, if you have a laptop)... follow the association below. They typically start at under $10 now.
If you have an analog camcorder (HI-8 or Video8 would be the lone ones from Sony, I think) you don't have any "files" however, the data on cartridge is analog. You would need a invasion device, something that can take surrounded by your analog video and generate digital files. If you have USB 2.0, Firewire, or a free PCI slot, you can receive devices that do this starting at around $20.00... not much different than hooking the camcorder to a VCR.
u just enjoy too use any kind of usb for that sony handcam or ask and inform the best buy people that i didnt achieve a usb with this camcorder so plz give support to me or i want refund.
