I bought a Panasonic camcorder and was competent to import video from it onto my computer using a USB connector. However, this was on a window computer. The Mac computer that I use now suggests using a firewire because it is not competent to read the camera. Can I still use the USB (and I'm just doing something wrong) or should I gain a firewire?
Answers: iMovie doesn't recognize USB connections, you want a 4 - 6 pin firewire cable.
Get a firewire. The quality decrease using a USB wire. Firewires cost simply about 10 dollars too
