i love editing video, and i'm getting a mac. i've heard a great deal of discussion about sonys not individual compatible with macs, but my camera have a usb cord so shouldn't it be able to verbs?

Kidding. If it have FireWire connectivity, most likely it will. If you can plug it into a PC, and it purely appears as a device withiut drivers, then it patently will. If Windows requires drivers, check the install CD to bring in sure it has drivers for Mac as capably, install thm first, then you should be honourable to go!
I enjoy a similar camera and had no problems near my mac...just hooked it up and the mac did the rest...u know
