Answers: HD tapes are physically one and the same as MiniDV, but they're selected for high quality. If you return with a drop-out with MiniDV you'll probably one and only lose a frame or two - with HD, because it's notably compressed, the effect is much more dramatic. You can use MiniDV tapes, but predict a video of the bride saying "I d...."! But why are you using HD anyway? By the time it's on DVD you've lost adjectives the advantages.
I am using the same tape. Its the good system for backup. The big company is still backup the data from HD to tape. it means just there is no risk of facts loss and threats.
