How do you carry video from a cam corder onto your computer?
Answers: there are tons very trouble-free ways to digitalize your analog videos. One method, (From a VCR to USB port) can be done with a special red, white, and washed out (aud./vid.) cable that converts to USB. This same adapter, when plugged into the matching red/white/yellow that come past its sell-by date of your camcorder can import your MiniDV video, (at a lesser point than a Firewire cable, "IEEE 1394") using Windows Movie Maker's function, "Import Video". If you choose to edit your video, and eventually accumulate it as one complete file, next you can easily upload this format onto oodles sites and servers.
If you're importing from a camcorder, and your laptop/pc have an IEEE 1394 port, then this will be the best element available for importation. Another option for TV>PC conversion is an SVideo cable (if you enjoy the neccessary PCI video card installed)...
hope i could help
