Answers:    Videos are in fixed format.

A full size AVI is 720x480 and most monitors are 800 x 600 or 1200 x 800 so you will not go and get a full screen

MP2 or MP4 is 640x400 which is even smaller

Most You Tube offerings are 320x200

The just way to gain full screen on most adjectives monitors is with HD video which is 1920 x 1080

Monitors on your computer are, effectively, almost 1.3 MP in resolution, some are 2 MP a few, approaching mine, are still around 1 MP

A video image out of a standard camcorder is 2/3 MP
