I have a Hi8 cartridge for my camcorder and I taped my newborn's birth beside it. The camera isn't a digital camcorder, but I know that you can take it somewhere to verbs it to a computer. Analog format to digital format. I can't buy anything because I don't have any money to buy it lol. Can I nick it to a photographer? Where do I take it to do this?
Answers: It would be cheaper to buy an analog converter than nick it someplace, and the converter (around 50.00) would be a one time buy. I have the dazzle and I can hook up my old-fashioned analog video camera or hook up a VCR to it and download it to the computer, unfortunately when going from analog to digital you do lose some power.
Another thing is to check your cable company, they sometimes present a transfer service, again this can cost you some money too.
