Opinions on minidvd camcorders?
I don't really want much in the path of manual controls and i don't involve to do much, if any, editing. I just want the picture to be clear and vibrant...and i want to know how to share my home videos beside out too much effort.
Answers: mini dvd cams by sony are other good but for matching price why not buy a hard drive cam from jvc ? no tape holds way more (some models over 40 hours) flowing to transfer to dvd via workstation or jvc brand dock great picture very clear and bright adjectives around good camera and unproblematic to use. link--> http://camcorder.jvc.com/product.jsp?pro...
Everio: Hybrid Camera
ps : sony is making some now but i expect they run a little more.
pps: you can draw from lower price models than the ones listed on the jvc website if you look around online those are newly the "current" models
I Hate To Say It But, Mini DVD Is Pretty Much A Dead Format And Was ALMOST From The Beginning. A Hard Drive Camcorder Or A Recorder That Uses Media Cards (SD,MD, CF, Memory Stick, Etc.) Are A Much More Practical Choice These Days As You Can Easily Transfer The Video To Your Computer For Editing/Burning OR Directly To Your DVD Recorder (Or Your Blu-Ray Or HD Recorder). This IS The Direction That Stills/Video/Audio Is Going. You May Pay A Little More But You Will Get A LOT MORE For Your Money Including A Smaller Size Camera Longer Battery Life And Few Moving Parts To Break Or Eat-Up Power.
Good-Luck!!
