I hv sony camcoder near it's video n want to convert 2 dvd but not sufficiently expert next to my notebook one and only read it's mmory card

I am a Sony Rep in Australia and we recommend Vegas software. Below is the association if it's any help.

Any apt DVD creation software will suffice however you will need a partly decent computer to churn through the process. It can also pocket quite a while to cut and create as the transfer is slow and mechanical. Good luck.

If your camcorder is miniDV video based, you will introduction the video using firewire (not USB. If your computer does not have a firewire port, you obligation to add one. Once explicitly done, you will also need to bring back a firewire cable. the DV port on the camcorder is 4-pin. The most common firewire port on computers is 6-pin, but we don't know what your computer have (it could be 4-pin.

Firewire and IEEE1394 and i.Link are all indistinguishable thing.

USB will not work for transfering from the video. USB will only work to copy still similes off the memory card - which you know.
