Are hard-drive camcorders better than DVDs ones? If they are I have looked at JVC GZ-MG77 and the Cannon HG 10 but I am not sure whether these are the solely choices for me... Can anyone suggest which is the best model out there?

Answers: the jvc one's are a moral buy, I am very pleased beside my 505.
It is true that hdd is better than dvd because its time is way longer and the dvd is much more shorter. Get the hdd and in the region of almost every brand out there is polite. Depending on your budget, if you want like for smaller number get jvc,cannon and if you want for more, attain sony. All of them are good identify brands. jGo to cnet.com to search for reviews!
