I've just bought my sony dcr-sr300. When I film it at first it kinda look blurry because I might have closened up beside the zoom thingy. Is that normal? Also, when i tried to motion picture my dog outside at night next to a small light of garge on, its kinda static. I can see this static. Is that average?
Can you tell me what to look for to see if the camcorder have no malfunctions?
Thanks
Answers: It is not static, it is call NOISE. It shows up when you try shooting something with low stratum lighting. The camera is compensating by bringing up the gain control. This is normal for inexpensive consumer status camcorders. Use more light, or catch a better camera.
