When you purchase an R4 from online, does the little mini sd card come next to the contents?

I'm gonna buy an R4, and i was looking at some of the content description ok the R4 packet from a couple of sites, and they didn't list the mini SD card within the list, Does this expect that u have to buy the SD card separately?
