I have the fire rope but i cant plug this into my pc as it doesnt hold the same shape as the lead, can any one please help, its driving me silly!
Answers: You just call for a firewire card in your PC. They're cheap and smooth to fit - you can get one from any computer shop. They're NOT purely for Macs!
Once the card's installed and the camcorder's connected (make sure it's switched to playback and not record) you can use an app like Windows Movie Maker to occupation and edit your video.
Firewire is solely on a mac computer. Srry.
