I am trying to download pictures from my camera to myspace using a usb cable. when connected zilch happen?

I have placed the usb cable into the port and after into the camera but nothing is going on. Please help

alrighty.turn on your camera.
you enjoy to connect it.
if nothing happen, go to start, and my computer.
click on it, at hand should be one of those that say something similar to removable blahblahblah, or something of that sort. click on it. and there should be other folders, click on of them and yur pictures should be here, then on myspace when you put upload browse to my computer and run them from the folder your in.
if that made any sense.
