Hi I have a cannon MV830 digic dv camera & when I try to verbs my tape on to the notebook with the 1394 dv port after give or take a few 15 mins my pc restarts & I lose what have been done. I hold tried the programe that came beside the camera & windows movie architect. I have made my own dvds earlier without any trouble. I still hold 59.25 GBs left & 83% free space, total dimensions 70.64 GBs. windows xp home ed.
Answers: My belief is this will be very difficult to diagnose remotely. It would enjoy been accepting to know exactly how your computer restarts. Does it blue-screen (Windows STOP error)? Does it simply switch off? Or does it run through the shutdown process?

I had a similar problem , mine be due to the lack of push .....check yours .....these days 1 gb of knock against is a minimum ...
