There are 3 little connectors on my Sony DV Handycam. One of them has a bit USB icon, on of them is AV near a little sideways i on the side, and the other is A/V Out. I bought a USB connector to connect to my computer. I tried it, and not individual does it say that it cannot install the device, I can't even use it! What should I do?
Answers:
Did u install the software from the HANDYCAM disc first? You first need to install the complete software suite. Restart your system (do not eject the CD) and connect the USB cable contained by the USB connector on camcorder. Turn on the camera to PLAY/EDIT and then select STREAM. The computer SHOULD certify a new hardware and would (now) install the driver from the SONY disc.
Try a firewire cable in the AV slot
