I have a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV330 and I need to transfer a video onto my computer..?

using a USB, I have the software and everything but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Please please please help...
Answers: If you bought the camera new, then you would have been supplied with a CD in the package. Sony always supply an application called 'Picture Package'. It's very simple to use.

If you've got the CD then put it in your CD or DVD drive and load the drivers and application from the installation menu that will appear on screen.

Don't be afraid to trry things out, you can't do any damage as long as you don't erase your tape before you are sure that you've transferred what you want to hard disk.

Other answers: DON'T use picture package, the CD that comes with the camcorder. If you have Windows XP, you should have Windows Movie Maker, and just transfer them with that. There should be a tab on the left column in WMM that says "Capture Video from Device" click that and follow the instructions.
