Can I relation my feeble 8mm camcorder to my computer?

I only own the original cable but hear that I could connect to my computer, I have tried this but be unsuccessful


Answers:    You should be able to connect to a TV takeover card, though the quality will probably be poor. There are some staunch devices that I'm told do a good living at a very restrained price - have a look at the Kworld Professional DVD Maker or the Pinnacle Dazzle. If you've get a lot of tape to capture and you want the best aspect (without investing in broadcast standard equipment) have a look at the Camopus ADVC continuum.
It can be done, using the USB port either within front or in fund of your computer, you will also need a video card to toy with that as well.
