I'm trying to decide what style of camcorder to buy. I'd really like to bring a high definition cam, but i read alot of reviews of those saying "no editing software supports editing hd video".
How is your experience? Have you be able to cut HD successfully or is this damn near impossible to do at this time?
Answers: It's not true any longer - Sony's Vegas supports AVCHD, for example. I'd post some detailed question on the user forums before committing myself to a specific format / editor.
