Canon powershot not turning on assist?

It is a $400 camera, so paying a hundred bux or so will seize your camera back .. one you are used to using. There are no user replaceable parts on digital cameras.
I would recommend repairing it and after in two years of so, get hold of a new one that will hold a lot more mechanical advancements.
all right actually your canon is working fine. except for the reality your screen isn't. the eyeshade on your canon powershot is not working. this happen often. the sollution is that you enjoy to open the cameras outer shell and you will find a green chip with lots of small steel peices attached next to steel wire. you will also find a ample wide lighting cartridge. this is either not attached to the lighting system or their is small rip on the cassette. if the tape is ripped than take a peice of foil and put it between the gap. that should do. this information also help my canon powershot light up again.
