I just bought the Canon SD1000 (silver!) a few days ago, and believe me, it's GREAT. The pictures are really clear. Not to mention the reality that it's really cheap for the quality, and it have some really great features. Like color accent, which allows you to pick ONE color that you want to show, while making the rest black and white. It's really fun to play around near.
The color of the pictures is REALLY good.
Check out the reviews on websites similar to newegg.com (they also have the camera pretty cheap.)
Anyway, I am REALLY happy with the Canon, plus, it's really small and can fit surrounded by a small purse without making it look strange. It can even fit surrounded by your back pocket.
i believe u should get the second one its cheaper but it looks resembling it cost more and it has more storage
