as in attendance is only one full frame available it would be the canon d5, if the nikon d3 be available i would make a fully grown business decision and use the best tool for the duty
really camera looks only niggardly things to amateurs and wanna be professionals, the pros I know make decision based on business sence and the best tool for the opening - label regardless

If you owned a bunch of Canon cup, it would make no sense to buy a Nikon DSLR, in recent times because it looked better or that cost was no intent.
I chose Nikon for one reason and one grounds only. I already have five Nikon 35mm cameras and t3n lenses.
After the D200 came out, I be happy I did own Nikon's. It has features that make shooting much easier ... I don't have to remove my eye from the viewfinder when shifting aperture or shutter speeds. A different adjustment wheel operate each. It have Image Authentication .... Important if someone accuses you of "photoshopping" metaphors. It has Image Comment, where on earth my copyright notice is inbuilt on each sign file I produce. And much, much more.
I be lucky, I already owned the camera system that I needed, so going "digital" made my life flowing ...

A Nikon, because I prefer the ergonomics. I believe the lens lines are about equal and the sensors on both camera lines are greatly good. So that only leaves ergonomics, which is a personal thing. I vote Nikon.
