Which is the best camera for a coledge art studany thats not to expensive 8mp +?
Answers: All of the major brands are polite. Choose a brand that appeals to you. Then you have to imagine about getting a spare freestyle, what size memory card, if you want an extended warranty, how much you can afford, what size zoom, if you want manual controls, the size of the camera, finding a reliable place to purchase it, and the inventory goes on and on and on.......
The first entity to realize is that almost any digital camera will take dutiful pictures. If more people would read the almanac more than once, they would be able to appropriate better pictures. Usually, the person assumes it is the camera when it could be them not knowing exactly what to do. Just pass yourself more photographic knowledge by doing more reading on the internet.
I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The individual needs to read alot of reviews on cameras so they can establish on the features that they really want and need.
Go to the store and hold them so you can see if they surface comfortable in your hand. If possible, take some pictures surrounded by the store to check the quality of the pictures.
I can individual give a suggestion of what to look for surrounded by a new digital camera.

The best cameras with elevated pixels are the ones straight from Japan on Ebay they are no name but they are markedly cheap compared to the branded version and tons use the same branded lens
Stick beside Canon for quality and clarity. May I ask why you requirement 8 or more megapixels? How big do you want to print these pictures? a 7mp picture will print at a natural print size of 24x36. 6mp is 20x30, 5 is 16x20.
If you're looking for something small to get with you, look at the Canon SD-1000 or SD-750. If you want more Zoom lens, check out the Canon S5-iS. it have a 12X Optical Zoom and image stabilization. If you REALLY want feature, find yourself a Canon Digital Rebel XT.
For a starving 'college' student who's waiting table, I'd suggest a Nikon D40x. It's currently selling for $699.99.

It's an easy to use 10 megapixel camera beside full auto functions, but with almanac options to use as your skills progress. It will autofocus near all Sigma HSM and Nikon S series lenses, but will provide excellent metering and encyclopaedia focus with other Nikon and 3rd delegation AF optics.

Since you are into art, you'll appreciate how it will take interchangeable lenses for macro (closeup) shots, cavernous angles for scenics, and telephotos for distance subjects. It's part of a massive Nikon system that very outstandingly rated.

Here's a intensely detailed review for you, with side-by-side comparisions.

By the instrument, the photos taken in the join below were shot next to a Nikon D50, a 6 megapixel predecssor to the D40 & D40x from the 56th row, across the stadium. They were shot at ISO settings from 400 to 1600, mitt held with an 'outdated' Nikon 75-300mm, next cropped and reduced before uploading.
I'd expect even better results near the D40x and more modern optic.
P.S. If you find 6 mp to be satisfactory, and abundant people do, after consider the D40. It's currently going for $549.99 with an 18-55mm lens.

I hope you find this conscientious.
Forget the camera, spend the money on English lessons.
Look, Art college imply you are needing a clothed camera... this may sound similar to one person adage, I own this... buy this, or I own this buy this, and it probably will but I can truly advise you no further than any the Nikon D40, or if you can stretch, the Nikon D40x. It IS the cheapest 'professional' camera on the market and highly good competence, with amazing results. Check out the DETAILED review below;
