My camera a short time ago fell past its sell-by date my desk. abet?

It's a Nikon Coolpix L3, it landed on its zoom (while it be open, i be uploading some pictures) it turns on to a plain white screen and stays that method for a few seconds, later it tries to go through the motion of turning on- the zoom go out then pulls rear legs in some, and thats where on earth it gets stuck, and have a screen that say "objective error". Is the zoom lately off its track and requirements to be reset or was something else inside the camera screwed up to variety the white screen come up?

Answers:    Try powering the camera On and OFF whille "gently" drumbeat in on a sturdy surface. If you're lucky the lens is off its track and will only pop back within. This worked for my kodak digital.

An out of warranty repair could be very expensive. :(

- I'm sorry the drumbeat did not work. Yes at this point a new purchase is your best prospect.
Gravity and water are the prime killers of cameras. "Tapping" it will individual exacerbate the problem. Its a camera, not a hammer.

Your camera is in a minute a paperweight. Repairs will be at your expense and will cost more than a new camera. You may in a minute begin shopping for its replacement.
