Is the nikon dx40 a moral camera??
im thinking about getting a camera for inside a gym, for basketball or volleyball games. do you contemplate this is a good choice?
Answers: it is a biddable camera - but you're gonna need at tiniest a little bit of a acquaintance about photography to really use it to its full potential. have a camera like the d40x (or even better camera) will not guarantee you a great shot everytime.
Also basic for the situation you're going to shoot is a fast lens and a polite tripod. I don't think you're going to involve flash at this point because most of the time, you're going to be too far away from the flash's reach for it to purloin effect.
Very good beginner's camera. For your sports photos, I'd recommend getting the Nikon 55-200mm VR zoom lens as it covers a fundamentally nice range and also give you the VR (vibration reduction) feature that almost eliminate the need for a tripod.
