Which camera is better canon radical xti or canon 40D?
Answers: Both are good cameras and yes the 40D is "better", faster, live judgment, etc... But if you dont already have some right lenses get the cheaper camera and buy some correct glass. The lens will take home more of a difference than the body will.
The pictures will be about indistinguishable, but the 40D is much bigger than the XTi and the grip is much more comfortable.
It's also got Live View and a bigger eyeshade on the back.
Oh yeah, and a bigger price sticky label.
HTH.
The 40D is the newest camera made by Canon and have Live view.

That said, if Live View is big, then you may want to know this.
From Ken Rockwell:
"Nikon have outdone Canon at Live View because Nikon's AF system works two different ways while in Live View, while Canon's does not work at adjectives."
Unless you already own Canon glass .. look at the Nikon D300
Yes, that's right. When you ask just about the 40D or XTi, someone's going to mention some other camera you never asked about close to the D300. Sheesh.
Between these two cameras, the Canon 40D is the better camera. But the XTi is no slouch. Unless you need a specific characteristic which is unique to the 40D, the XTi is probably proficient of satisfying your requests and a lot lower price.
That human being said, if I had to choose one for myself between these two, it would be the Canon 40D.
Canon and 40 D is the best entry-level DSLR camera on the flea market today. Your next step up from near is a Canon or Nikon body in the over $3000 price continuum which does not include a lens.
The Digital Rebel XT! It is also an excellent picture taker (I doubt you could tell the difference contained by quality between a picture taken near either camera when used properly) but D40 have a few advanced features that the XT I just doesn't enjoy.
If you want the latest piece, get the D40.
Canon Rebel XTi.
