What description of battery should be used next to Canon Digital camera A 570? Any specific brand?
Answers: Yes, obviously you can use rechargeable batteries. In reality, that's what you SHOULD use. Any good identify brand of rechargeable NiMh battery and charger will do. Make sure they are big capacity (something resembling Energizer 2700mAh or higher).
Your camera only uses 2 AA battery, so make sure you buy 4 battery and a charger that can charge 4 batteries at a time, so you other have a spare set.
To make longer your battery natural life, make sure you turn stale the LCD in between shots, and also restrain the use of the flash, zoom and recording of movies.
Make sure you other give the battery a charge before you plan to use the camera. Especially if you own not used it within a while, because NiMh batteries will discharge at the rate of roughly 1/2 -1% per day when unacquainted.
You can also use Lithium batteries (such as Energizer e2). They are non rechargeable and relatively expensive, but provide a much longer battery natural life than ordinary battery. They are perfect as an emergency backup...and the worthy thing almost them is that they do not discharge when not used.
well brought-up luck...
I have one and the same camera
you need rechargeables
carry the 2500 or 2700 power
any local store
any NiMH rechargeable battery would do. But stay away from cheaper brand because they'll dance dud easily over time. I've used Sanyo, Maxtor and Sony and they're pretty pious. Energizer is pretty all right too.
Charger... okay I usually prefer the slow charger - the one that accepts AA and AAA rechargeable battery because I use AAA batteries too for some other purpose.
I give attention to Sanyo and Maxtor made good charger.
