Pentax Optio E40 3X optical zoom 8.1 megapixel?

I found the above camera for $150.00 and wanted to know if Pentax be a good brand of digital camera & if this is a great buy. It have 4X digital zoom for a 12X total zoom. A 2.4" LCD, face tribute technology, and some other things. A couple of years ago, I bought a Kodak Easyshare Z740 with singular 5 MP and 10X optical and paid $300.00. I am buying this as a endowment for my mom, the 1st digital camera I bought her is only 2MP so it is time for an upgrade, please permit me know.


Answers:    Hey, don't listen to the guy up there. Pentax is a highly good brand. The top presently is Canon and Nikon. Soon, there will be three including Pentax. Pentax be the top when it was at show cameras. the number 1. When digital came out pentax be a bit slow. But now its storming the industry again. The ratings immediately are 1st Canon 2nd Nikon 3rd Pentax 4th Sony 5th Olympus 6th Panasonic and so on... If i left out anything please consent to me know:)
