Which will present the better picture for print? 8MP Fine or 10MP Normal?

I have a Sony 10.1MP DSC-N2 Camera... not much room on my card... requirement to take some photos today and don't hold time to go out and buy another memory card... call for to know which would produce better quality pic.

10MP Nornal or 8MP Fine....

Thanks!

Answers:    The talent of the 8MP Fine should be greater than the 10MP normal. The difference is the amount of compression specifically used to store the image. Fine give less compression, which reduce the data losses.

However, you might find that storage size of the 8MP Fine are not much different to the 10MP Normal. So if the TRUE issue is getting smallest storage size on the card, you might not get much benefit.

You might want to run a couple of test shots on respectively setting and see what the relative file sizes turn out to be.
Fine other wins ... here is far more information saved when the sign is shot using Fine or the highest resolution.

It is other the best to shoot at the highest resolution possible and consequently resize images using the software that come with the camera.

BTW, pixel count is with the sole purpose half the equation ... sensor size is the other.
