Laptop not picking up canon camera?
Answers: Some laptops/computers are have difficulty retrieving information from the canon camera's recently. It might be a nouns or compatibility issue, however it will be resolved sooner or later. As for the time individual, invest in a cheap CF or SD card reader, sometimes ebay present them away with memory cards too. Hope this help

Did you switch on the camera after connecting it to the laptop? It wont if you didn't. Furthermore, if the camera has a 'shoot picture' and 'review picture' switch, switch it to the 'review picture', if not it won't work.
