The adjectives of digital cameras -what will be the peak Mega pixel cameras produced since a "plateau" occur?

it seems the manufacturer are making cameras with more and more mega pixels, but the averages user won't be developing huge prints that warrant cameras similar to that. What will be the highest MP cameras they'll label before they want to start innovating. I guess what I'm asking about is the adjectives of digital cameras. among other things. Feel free to discuss. Thanks!

Answers:    Your question is thought provoking to right to be heard the least, but can be answered near a very simple statement. What will be the adjectives size of a pixel relative to the pixel of today and one from six years ago? I will venture to articulate science is reducing the physical size of pixels by a factor of 1.4 about every two years. The basis I say 1.4 is because we means area within photography by the square root of the number 2, which is 1.414. Look at lens apertures or paper sizes. The difference between 8x10 tabloid and 11x14 is 1.414 -- the square root of 2. Multiply f8 by 1.414 and up comes f11. They are nothing more later the multiple of the square root of 2 -- 1.414 -- because we are dealing with nouns, including the size of a pixel. Right now the individual limitation to producing a 28 or 32 megapixel full-frame 35mm sensor 24x36mm is the physical size of a pixel -- they are merely too big now for that masses to fit. However, keep within mind, we have have 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 18, and now 22 megapixel sensors -- do these numbers nouns familiar? I come up with the next big innovation will come from lenses, including better sensors for video cameras to know how to make massive still images and dignified resolution video using the same small camcorder, and why not a sensor you can tweaking like a module for impossible to tell apart camera body -- sort of like when we changed show. Remember, the camera body is still nothing more after a light tight box.
Well it won't necessarily be a pixel count issue. More it will be the point where on earth the pixels start interfering with one another when refraction begin to occur between them. The long roller lengths will be the first to reveal this problem.

Think of the smaller sensors found on compact digital cameras as mortal the testing place for pixel density. It is jammy to imagine that the pixel density on a small sensor ( 4.5 x 3.4 mm) next to 10MP will be higher than on a larger sensor (36 x 24 mm) beside the same 10MP count. The small sensor would enjoy about 55 times the pixel density of the sizeable sensor in this covering
I think 12
which we enjoy already reached
