Is 10 mega pixels alot for a camera?

Answers:    oh yes it is. In fact it's one of the matchless with clear resolution
Yes 10 mega pixels is the top of the capacity
Yes, but pixel count alone does not determine the overall quality of the photos.
Yes it is like mad.

Some smaller camera that have this resolution even can't pedal this kind of pixel density and some of them exhibit commotion especially in low reading light condition.

Personally if you want a pocket camera you'd better off next to a 5-6 megapixel camera instead of 10.
It all depends on what you are going to do. MPs does not gross you a photographer. If you're interested in blowing up profusely of photos, then anything between 7, and 10 MPs is great. If your an average shooter, next around 7 is perfect.
10 megapixels is more than sufficient for almost adjectives camera buffs. Actually most people should shoot for a capacity of say 4 to 6 unless one crops profusely or enlarges most of their photos more than 8X10.
