How oodles pictures can a 1 AND 2GB SD card hold?

Answers:    use this formula

take the mega pixels on your camera and divide it into the size of the card

IE
2000 MB (2 Gb) card divided by 5 MP camera = roughly 400 descriptions at high resolution (jpeg)

you probably don't know what RAW is so I won't bother to divide that for you.
That depends. How many megapixels? JPEG (std, fine, x. fine) or RAW (or both)?

For example, beside my 12 megapixel SLR I get around 150 shots on a 2GB card shooting in compressed RAW format.
Depends on how lots pixels your camera takes. Simplest passageway to solve it would be to take a few pictures, upload them to your computer, help yourself to a few, get the average size after divide that by 1024 or 2048 to figure it out.
