Any flaws from SIgma 50-500mm lens?

I was considering getting a sigma 50-500mm lens from ebay for a considerably cheaper price than typical. I am wondering if there is anything I should be looking for surrounded by this lens that would make it defective or flawed.

Answers:    Like Richard above me said, it's best to stay away from eBay when buying different or used lenses still on the market. If you insist, check for the following:
- pictures of the product are indeed of the actual item
- the retailer has multiple pictures of the cup surfaces and they are clean
- no structural incapacitate
- the seller explicitly states its condition and state (if the description is imprecise, ask for further details)
- return policy / guarantees / warranty
- any flaws that the lens may contain (coating, scratches, etc.)
- seller's feedback (snoop on Google or Yahoo! too)

If something isn't specified, inquire. If at any point you perceive the seller isn't one honest or answering your questions, tramp away. You're the one paying big bucks for some guy's word on the internet -- you have every right to ask adjectives the questions you necessitate to.
I won't get it from ebay, since most of them are grey bazaar and has no warrantly, since is a pricey lens, i won't risk for it. But for that money, you could achieve real prime lens.
