It was working fine since i bought it, later one day i took photos and when i tried to see them on blind there be nothing but black blind, i transfered wtever it was on my laptop and it does report, pic taken on that date from canon powershot a300 etc etc but its all black.
even when i switch camera on, i can see manual, etc but to take shot...the be reluctant doesnt appear on screen i imply its totally black. wt could be wrong and can it be mended.
Answers: Contact Canon. Due to a Sony manufacturing irregularity, millions of cameras were made near bad sensors, including your Canon model. It should be a free repair.
