What is the difference between Focus and Sharpness on my DSLR?
Answers: Focus is the adjustment of the lens to bring a specific point into the highest level of sharpness, all points closer or further than that point will own some reduced degree of sharpness. The Sharpness setting on most DSLR use an algorithm to increase the overall sharpness of the imitation by adjusting the level of contrast between colors and/or finding edges of objects and adjusting the "edge" pixels to pass a more distinct line. The "cost" of using big sharpness settings is that the edges may become unnaturally harsh or "pixelated" at increased magnification.
focus have to do with things human being blurry, and sharpness helps beside colors and contrast between them.
