A righteous digi camera around $200?

I have a really nice Kodak Easy Share z7590 that I get for Christmas around 3 years ago, but it's slightly bulky. And I worry give or take a few tossing it in my purse. Plus it weigh a ton. I go to the shore a lot and out next to friends and I take hundreds of pictures. But my chunky camera is stopping me from carrying it next to me. So I was thinking roughly buying a thinnner camera that takes right pictures that I can carry beside me all the time. I love the Kodak Easy Shares because I'm amazingly familiar next to them, but I'm not opposed to getting another brand. It have to be around $200, preferably a little smaller quantity. And I need the padding time between pressing the capture button and the picture in actual fact taking to be very short as I'm other taking pictures of animals for my local rescue. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately you're asking for profusely for a little. There are not really any standard thin cameras for lower than $200. For slightly more there is the Nikon S51, which is 7.1 mgp. and have a 3" screen. Very nice. That's my personal top pick, but if you're feeling like to spend even $50 more, a lot more option open up. Good luck!
