Does anyone have a practical hint just about getting scratches sour of my digital camera glass? They don't come across like immensely deep grooves but in recent times enough to annoy me near this very expensive camera.

Dirt and smudges, you can use a lens cloth and lens cleaner, but for scratch, there isn't a cure. They may not truly show up in your descriptions, and so won't really be a concern.
