Anyone hold experience near a Mikona 536 camera? Resolution seem beyond doubt fearful. Is this a knock bad?
Answers: I won one of these cameras in a radio station giveaway. I've have a similar experience. I'm especially dissapointed because it was market to me as a digital camcorder, and unless I'm missing something in the setup, the video resolution is completely terrible. I can hold much better videos near the digital camera I already have (which I would never travel so far as to call a camcorder). I found this sound out when looking for info of my own about the camera.
I thought conceivably since the internal memory was so incredibly small (16MB), possibly there wasn't plenty space to record within a higher resolution, and if I put within a memory card (it takes SD), perchance it would offer me a high resolution. No such luck, I plugged in my 512MB SD card from my other camera, and it still merely offered me 2 choices for resolution (the highest of which be only 640x480). The instruction instruction manual claims to offer several high resolutions, but I certainly can't numeral out how to make it register in those resolutions.
I would be most interested if anyone have any further insight.
EDIT: I did manage to find a company website beside a picture, but not much in the instrument of useful information: http://www.mikona.cn/modules/xcgal/displ...
I believe Mikona be the brand of a 35 mm film camera that I get free several years ago as a premium for buying something else. As I recall, it be a piece of junk, but the entitle does sound sort of similar to Nikon.
