I have a Sony Cypershot DSC-S60, and I hold a problem. I don't know if its normal, but when I put NEW AAA battery in it, use it for let say 30mins, the battery are gone. Its really really starting to bug me. The battery life span is so short, I can't seem to acquire anything out of it before I involve new ones. Is this everyday? Are the AAA batteries desperate quality? Maybe I should enjoy the preview screen past its sell-by date? Maybe I should use Rechargeable(which I recall using at one point, but the battery seem to drain faster).
What should I do? Thanks
I could other buy a new one... but I don't enjoy $200 laying around...
Answers: If you check your cameras booklet you will find that it is optimized to use NiMH rechargeable batteries. Those battery with at most minuscule a 2500mA-h rating will last far longer than any standard AAA mobile
The second part of your problem is perkiness management.
Keep the LCD bad if you don't need it. Use your viewfinder to compose your photos ... doing that will not singular save power, but moderate the chance of have camera movement (blur)
Yes it would help if the preview eyeshade were sour and yes, over time, rechargeables will save you money- lately buy more than one set.
