My Sigma APO f2.8 70-210mm will with the sole purpose shoot at f2.8, on my digital camera....why?

Is it because its made for a film camera, or is something wrong next to the lens itself?


Answers:    Not sure what you mean, but you may own to turn the lens' aperture ring down to f22.

Then you set the f-stop on the camera.
