Is a Hasselblad camera really worth $32 thousand?
Answers: It may sound stupid, but when your clients need digital imagery that only a surrounding substance format camera can produce you have to hold the tools.
When I paid over $5,000 for an 8x10 spectacle camera in the behind 1970's and another $6,000 in lenses and motion picture carriers, it be a big hit to my savings, but to be exact what the client needed ... 8x10 transparencies.
That shoot paid for the equipment... and I still own it and use it from time to time.
It's worth doesn`t matter what people are prepared to pay for it.
If you stipulation a particular tool to do the duty, then that's the tool you buy.
You might be capable of do the job beside other tools, but why create extra work? Hence, you get the right camera next to the right lenses, even if it costs $32,000.
The price as came down when I first saw this camera it be around 40,000, but still way too over price.
