It's too tiny for me to handle. I believe you over recompense for what you're getting. Biggest bang for my bucks would be a regular compact camera. I enjoy nothing against Sony contained by fact I love my CyberShot that have 12X optical zoom; no it's not tiny. But it certainly isn't as voluminous as a digital SLR either.

In reality in any of your key brands I would choose a regular compact over tiny, tiny.

Vintage Music is right.

That said, it is a perfect looking, full featured camera.

The only common sense I would not consider it is because it uses propratary memory cards. SD memory cards are the defacto standard in compact digital cameas and Sony's Memory Stick, while have a catchy name, can one and only be used on other Sony cameras and some of its other products.

That is too bad.

The shutter speed is absolutely excellent. This is a great camera and a great choice. But if you're worried in the region of money, you can go for a much smaller amount expensive Sony Cyber-shot model -- the DSC-W50 ($180). It is an equally good camera. It have 6 megapixels vs the 7 with your choice, 2.4-in LCD peak vs the 3-in with your choice, and it certainly has a bigger flash extent at 14 ft vs 11 ft with your choice. Something's gotta contribute, I would say jump with the smaller quantity expensive one, especially since your choice is around $450!!
