Whats else? and could you recommend a brand?

Answers: The more maega pixels the better 7 is pretty high talent and that is the superlative thin cameras can move about to so I would say it is best for most society.The larger the LCd monitor the better probably 2 inches would be good. cavernous angle is always dutiful it allows more to be captured contained by a single shot. Video is fun but not a neccesary function for digital cameras. Water proof really doesnt matter because you shouldnt be getting digital cameras drizzly anyways and when would you really use it in wet?

First and most influential thing is for you to opt weather you want to just point and shoot, or do you really want to achieve involved in photography. To achieve involved you would need an DSLR, otherwise the Fuji F50fd would be a great point and shoot.
