Is it bleak to point cameras at tvs?

someone told me this and i was wondering if its true

Answers:    nope. a TV's table lamp isn't bright enough to defacement it. the sun, or a lightbulb directly, is another story. it damages your CCD sensor and (on some cameras) causes an unfun black spot.

TV is fine.
