What's a well brought-up camera that I can purchase?

I previously owned a Pink Polaroid i733 7MP camera, but my little sister took it and when she was finished, she threw it surrounded by my room, hitting a hard protest, breaking the LCD screen on the inside. So, it's TOAST, and $160 to fix, more than the camera!

- I would close to a 7-8 MP camera.
- I don't want anything "professional", this is just a camera to run to concerts, out with friends, etc.
- I resembling the colored ones - I think those are too cute! That's why my later one was pink.
- My price stock would be $100-$150.
- Something that would go KAPUT when I turn it on, but I do know that every camera have it's faults.

What description of camera do you have?

when buying stuffs, whether clothes, jewelry, cars and electronic products, other go for the appropriate ones. The Camera that is selling for $10 might involve repair about 10 times a year, while the Camera i.e. selling for $50 might last forever. That's what you want, right?
