Is my digital camera broken?

I have an Olympus model FE-190 and every time I turn it on, the zoom lens go in and out and within and out, the screen go on but is black, after fiddling around with some buttons the blind displays the environment, but it is unfocused (it used to enjoy an auto focus).

Any idea what specifically might be wrong and how to own it fixed?

Answers:    i had that camera beforehand i got my nikon, it does do that when the batterys are low, but customarily the lights will flash with it and it have an elongated beep- but as for the black screen youve ether dropped it or its get bashed contained by you bag or something, the best point i can think of is to vertebrae up your photos on your pc, consequently remove the batteries and memory card and depart it for a day or two, fully recharge the battery and try it again. if it is still playing up, then filch it to dixons and currys- or whever you got it from and see if they can diagnose the problem. it may have need of a simple servise or it may be broken
yes, it sounds like a broken camera.
