Fujifilm S700 not turning on?

I have a fuji flim S700 fine pix camera I bought smaller amount than a month ago. I had fall down in the snow today and dropped my camera. The camera fell on pavement but be in a grocery sack. It now no longer turns on. There is 0 wound on the outisde and shaking it lightly raison d`¨ētre no sound. The eyeshade is not damage and the lens is not scratched. The memory card still functions and the flash still pops up. I can push it down to close and pop it fund up with a fingernail (don't know if I could pop it up before). The battery might be dead, but its doubtful since I never saw any low freestyle signs.

Answers:    It's probably dead -- sorry. And since it's simply about $200 up to date, it won't be worth getting repaired. The first thing you should try, however, is popping contained by some fresh batteries. It's POSSIBLE they shorted out when it be dropped, although it's unlikely. But it's worth investing a couple of bucks for new battery, and you can always use them surrounded by some other device.

Wish I had better communication...
Take out you batteries and put contained by new ones. Also bring in sure the memory card door is shut (camera won't turn on unless fully closed). If no dice...take it to your camera shop.

I hold the same camera and it be usually the card door that proved most common near this. Great camera, and good price as okay. Hope you like yours as much as I approaching mine.
